The sandbox gaming category has maintained a strong presence in Europe during the first quarter of 2024. Here, we take a look at the performance of the top sandbox games, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation continues to dominate the market, with revenue showing a slight decline from $4.9M in the first week to around $3.8M by the end of March. Downloads started at 1.1M in the first week of January and showed fluctuations, ending the quarter with close to 890K. Weekly active users peaked at nearly 50.6M in late January, settling at around 47.3M by the end of March.

Block Crazy Robo World, despite having no reported revenue, saw its downloads start at 357K and dip to approximately 246K by the end of Q1. Weekly active users showed a descending trend from 1.8M to 1.7M over the quarter.

Wildlife Studios' Block Craft 3D:Building Game exhibited modest revenue figures, with an initial $7.4K which fluctuated slightly to close the quarter at $5.8K. Download trends saw a peak of 319K in late January and a spike to 373K in the last week of March. The game maintained a weekly active user base of over 2M throughout the quarter.

Craft World - Master Block 3D by Master Craft Game 3D, saw no revenue but had downloads beginning at 305K, with a notable increase to 269K by the end of March after a mid-quarter slump. The game's weekly active users hovered around 700K, reaching over 750K in the last week of March.

Lastly, Craft City Loki, another offering from Craft Trending Studio, also had no revenue to report. Downloads for the game peaked at 261K in early February but ended the quarter at around 160K. Weekly active users showed an increase from January's 290K to a high of 425K in mid-February, concluding the quarter with 348K active users.
